yes, i am still here too. . . and guess what. . . i'm cat/ house sitting again -- yay for earning extra money! i even thing (or really more hope) that i'll be more focused, less distracted and get a lot of homework done while i'm here. . .

so, this week was the second week in the new fall schedule at church and i am co-leading the junior high girls small group. it's really pretty exciting -- i only hope i don't screw them up. today we started our goal setting for the fall and my goal is to get into the Word more often, b/c i need to real bad! i've been doing a lousy job of that for way too long. lately i've just been feeling like i'm plateauing in my walk w/ God. i really hope i can still be an encouragement to this group of girls -- in fact, it would be even more amazing if it forced me to get back into a regular routine of doing devotionals and such. i think it could help me to start growing again while i'm helping others to grow (hopefully) -- how great would that be! so i would love to hear of any devotional suggestions -- i need to find a good one and soon. thanks!

is anyone still out there? ? ?

so just out of curiosity, is there anyone out there who actually still uses this seemingly obsolete blog know as xanga? i sometimes get on here on a smallish whim thinking that someone might have updated or -- even more shockingly -- commented on mine. i sometimes think about updating with the random thoughts and goings on of my life at present. however, i really don't want to update for just the creepy random ppl out in cyberspace who happen to stumble upon my site, i'd like to update for my friends who i don't get to see that often and might actually care about what i write. SO. . . if the answer is yes, there are ppl out there who might like me to continue to update, please comment me something so i know. thanks! bye!

(p.s.- forgive the randomness of oddlike language i used. . . i'm feeling slightly authorish at the moment but fail to be actually good at it)

i'm officially done w/ school for the summer. . . yay for me. i got an A on my last exam. . . yay some more. . .

so, why am i not happy, exactly. . .

so my grandma came home a few days ago, but needed someone to stay with her 24/7. and then just yesturday she was again having some breathing problems so they took her back into the ER and i think she came back home again last night or this morning. i still haven't had a chance to go see her yet . . . i feel so out of the loop, and kinda guilty too. i wish i had more news to share with all .25 people who read this, but it makes me feel better just to randomly talk about it, even if it is just to a computer screen -- plus if someone decides randomly to actually read this, they will be all updated on the way super excitingness that my life is. . . (blah!)

also, i just pretty much failed my world geography exam. . . ugh. . . i really hate school (esp. in the summer -- never do it!) but i guess it is pretty kinda exciting, today was the last day of my geography class and i only have one more day of my sociology class (hopefully i won't do as bad on that exam!). and then (yippee. . .) i get all of three-ish weeks of actual summer before i have to go back and do it all over again. . .
